From Dhofar to Doha
In the mountains of Dhofar Governorate, southern Oman, grows the Boswellia Sacra tree—the tree from which the finest frankincense in the world is extracted. This region was the center of the frankincense trade two thousand years ago and remains the benchmark by which frankincense is measured everywhere.
Luban Doha was founded to bridge the distance: to bring authentic Omani frankincense to homes in Qatar and the Gulf at the same quality as it is bought in Salalah market—not a lower quality marketed at a higher price.
Why frankincense specifically?
Because it is one of the least transparent products for the buyer. The difference between first-grade Hojari frankincense and mixed frankincense is not apparent in a picture or elegant packaging—and that's why many pay for the former and receive the latter. We chose our mission to be to explain, not to claim.
How we choose what we sell
- Grade before name. We sort the pieces by color, size, and consistency, and we do not call a product "Hojari" unless it truly is.
- Scent before and after burning. Raw frankincense should not have a strong sweet smell when cold—if it does, it is perfumed and must be sold as such.
- One known source. We deal with specific suppliers in Dhofar and do not buy from open markets.
- Clear labeling. Every product has its weight and type known, and maamoul is labeled as maamoul.

- Raw Hojari Frankincense — pieces as they are from the tree, in various grades and weights.
- Frankincense Maamoul and Scented Bakhoor — authentic frankincense with carefully crafted aromatic blends.
- Skin and Hair Care — products based on frankincense extract and oil.
And alongside them, oils and extracts and gift boxes.

- Responsibility in case of error. Did your order arrive damaged or different? Contact us within 48 hours, and we will cover the full cost.
- Answer before purchase. We don't want you to buy what doesn't suit you. Tell us what you're looking for, and we'll recommend it to you—even if it's the cheapest.
