Frankincense Maamoul and Scented Incense

Ma'amoul is Omani Hojari frankincense after it has been scented with a carefully formulated aromatic blend, combining the purity of original frankincense with an aromatic layer that lasts in the majlis and on clothes. The difference from raw frankincense is that the scent here is complex and designed — it starts with a clear top note then settles into a deeper base.

What is the difference between our blends?

  • Ta'ifi Rose: Soft and feminine, best suited for women's gatherings and special occasions.
  • Oud and Patchouli: The strongest and warmest, for formal hospitality and large majlises.
  • Sandalwood: A calm and warm woody scent, suitable for relaxation and bedrooms.
  • Al-Shumoukh, Al-Qusoor, Al-Dana, Mazoon, and Nizwa: Balanced oriental blends that combine frankincense with traditional essential oils.

How to use Ma'amoul?

A small amount is sufficient. Place it on an electric incense burner at medium heat or on charcoal after its flame has subsided — excessive heat burns the aromatic blend before it can spread. For best diffusion, burn incense ten minutes before guests arrive with the windows closed.
